Dear Family and Friends,
Observed on Sunday, September 21, 2025, the International Day of Peace commemorates the founding ideals of the United Nations: to promote peace, end conflict, and foster global cooperation.
We must speak up against violence, hate, discrimination, and inequality; practice respect; and embrace the diversity of our world. There are many ways to act right now. Spark conversations about the urgent need for understanding, non-violence, and disarmament.
Thank you to Aldo and all those who participated in our pre-recognition of International Day of Peace on Saturday, September 20, 2025. It was followed by our Ministry of Prayer Sunday, with messages from Practitioners Amie Miner, Willard Williams, and Jamie Jette, who all spoke about peace and what it looks and feels like to them. We have reached a time when we must choose to practice peace as much as possible, because many people find the times we are living in to be chaotic and uncertain.
Beginning in November, we will start our spiritual practice of peace together on the 5th Sunday of the month as Practitioner Aldo moves the Heart of Peace so that more of us can practice together. Remember, where two or more are gathered, we can manifest all the good we want to see in the world.
