Dear Family and Friends,
There is an Infinite Stream of Abundance and this stream of abundance flows through each and every area of all those that support the Las Vegas Center for Spiritual Living NOW!
I must say that many, or dare I say most, ministers tend to dread to discuss finances. There is an old way of thinking that if a church or Center is not performing well financially, it is the minister’s consciousness.
At this stage in life and ministry, my goal is to accept responsibility for mistakes and wrongdoings, my lack of awareness, and my unconscious behavior that has caused undue harm. My humanness prevents me from being perfect, so there is no need to burden myself with that old thinking pattern, and victimhood does not serve me on any level. There is freedom in just being and doing my best at any given moment and if that isn’t enough, then taking the time to re-evaluate situations consciously is mine to do.
The observation and prayer work allows me to do something differently the next time. So the thought that if the church isn’t doing well, it is the fault of the minister or ministers, in our case, makes about as much sense as blaming one individual for everything that is wrong in the world. That is a heavy burden and doesn’t ring true on any level. However, that old mindset comes up each time there is a talk created around Money.
To be honest, this past Sunday, it felt a little easier to speak about how one can shift their consciousness around the financial picture of our individual lives and community. The fact that it felt easier and lighter has absolutely nothing to do with our current financial picture. Still, we had a Sunday where we had a beautiful celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Our own Mari Carmen Torres spoke beautifully and passionately about our Oneness as humanity. The music provided by her husband, Practitioner Eugenio Torres, just framed it up perfectly.
When Mari Carmen spoke about what she has learned at Las Vegas CSL as far as Oneness is concerned, I realized the good we have created here together. It is not Rev Cheryl and I who have made this on our own; we have co-created with everyone who has been open and accepted our ministry and every person financially supportive on any level. We have done this together for one another. We are moving the teachings of universal principles out to more and more people weekly.
The awareness of that allows me to know that we are in the Divine Flow. As Karen Drucker says in her song, Money is coming to me. “Money Is coming to me easily, and effortlessly money is coming to me.” I know that is not only my truth but the truth of the Las Vegas Center for Spiritual Living.
