ps for last sunday

Dear Family and Friends,

“Life waits upon each of our discovery of natural laws, it starts with ourselves and our discovery of each of our relationship to the great Whole.”                             ~ Dr. Ernest Holmes

The above-referenced quote has been reworded so that it is gender neutral. The quote spoke to us this morning as a reminder of the fact that each person, plant, animal, and thing is a Divine Idea in the Mind of Spirit. The fact that we have the blessing of a philosophy/teaching that offers classes and services to remind us of our relationship is so beneficial to many of us.

We also have a place to model that by our outreach activities and connection with one another outside of our space. So now, we have successfully joined with our sister from another mister, Unity LV, for the purpose of moving that important message out to more of the world.

The idea of sharing space, resources, talent, and treasure is an idea that is not only cost-effective but also affords us more diversity and inclusion, as well as an opportunity for some that are always here on Sundays to take a break, refresh and re-imagine from a different vantage point.

So now that we have more love, more compassion, more energy, and more resources in our space, what’s next? What do you do after making the great discovery that Dr. Holmes speaks about? Honestly, my only answer is that we gift more love, compassion, energy, and resources to more people outside this building. That’s what we are called to do. Does anyone want to join us?

We look forward to another joint service with Unity LV this coming Sunday with our special guest artist, Dr. Jami Lula. If you haven’t purchased a ticket yet, please consider doing so. We realize that perhaps you don’t know his music, but he is well worth the price of a ticket, and so is our community.

Namasté,
Rev Staci Hylton and Rev Cheryl Bell
