Dear Friends and Family,
The theme for the year is Rising Higher-Growing Deeper, and our theme for this month is Stretch Into Possibilities.
This month, we are going back to basics while reading and discussing the first four sections of the Science of Mind textbook. It has been a while since doing this, and it just so happens that it coincides with our Center finishing our Foundations class on December 17.
I have a few writings from some of our students. They were final projects that they shared during the final week of class. The first was written by Sandra Touch, who had never taken a Science of Mind class. She found us through our own Rev Cynthia Ambriz. By reading this, I would say that she definitely gets it. Thank you, Sandra, for your willingness to share your words and wisdom with us. Please don’t be a stranger!
hank you, Rev Cynthia, Rev Cheryl, and all the students who put in the time and energy to complete the class.
The Power Within
By Sandra Touch
In pages bound, a wisdom flows,
A timeless truth the seeker knows.
The Science of Mind, a guiding light,
To turn the darkness into bright.
It speaks of thought, the silent seed,
That shapes the world, fulfills the need.
For what we think becomes the way-
The life we live, the words we say.
No force too far, no dream too high,
The mind creates, as heart meets sky.
It whispers soft, “You are the key,
The Power’s within-be still and see”.
It heals the wounds that linger long,
Reclaims the weak, restores the strong.
In thought’s pure form, there lies release,
A truth profound: Your mind is peace.
No stranger fate, no cruel design,
But Law that moves, both yours and mine.
With faith, with love, the path is clear-
The life you crave is ever near.
It teaches truth in unseen ways,
To bless the world and count your days.
To find in self a sacred art,
For God resides within your heart.
So take this gift, this book, this Truth,
And paint your world with joy and youth.
A life of love, a mind set free-
The Science of Mind has shown to me.
Much Love,
Rev Staci
