Dear Friends and Family,
I want to thank Rev Cynthia Ambriz for speaking last Sunday. She always shares authentically, which allows us to get to know her by sharing who she is while relating her story to the talk title. I truly enjoy her messages.
Rev Cheryl and I were asked to facilitate a workshop at Redondo Beach CSL. For those who are unaware, that is where we had our ministerial studies. I was not certain how it might feel to be in Southern California with all the devastation. I am happy to report that although we did not visit Palisades, Altadena, or anywhere the fires hit directly. There was a feeling of compassion, love for SoCal, and an energy to move forward together.
As a California-born and raised girl, it made my heart feel good to bear witness and feel the energy of compassion, love, and resilience. I suspect that the realization of Oneness is comforting. I also suspect that the realization is needed and more good will manifest from this devastating event. Fire brings about renewal and rebirth. So I am grateful and accepting for all the good that is happening right now and in the future for such a beautiful state that will always be my home.
Love,
Rev Staci
