ps for last sunday
Staci Hilton

Dear Friends and Family,

It was so good to be back for Sunday Service last week. In honor of Black History Month, we chose to show the video about the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-Black female battalion in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) to serve in Europe during World War II.

It was a good feeling to hear those of you who were in person cheer on a group of people who really haven’t been recognized by very many. That battalion gave hope to those who served and their families. Hope in times of confusion, chaos, and uncertainty is what is needed to get one through the dark days and nights.

I hope that you will choose to celebrate with Rev Cheryl and myself to recognize those who choose to give their love and stand in their Truth for the right reasons. Those women are love and stood for love of humankind and our country.

Thank you to the Six Triple Eight! We are inspired, uplifted, and empowered by who you chose to be in our country’s time of need. We are grateful to remember that we ALL stand on your shoulders.

Peace and Blessings,
Rev Staci
