Dear Friends and Family,
I am loving this month’s theme of Unstatus Quo! It isn’t just because we chose to wear jeans (although it was definitely a bonus), but even more than that, it is the opportunity to look, see, and do things outside of the usual way of our Sunday Services. I get to be creative and color outside the lines.
The idea of committing to doing things differently is fun. The idea of being different is transformational. One of the benefits of doing things differently is that, often, it calls for being different. It calls for more trust and willingness to allow the Divine to flow through you, and often it calls for surrender.
I trust that all those reading this are practicing that which is not the status quo in your lives. Do something out of the norm and see if it doesn’t bring you to a new level of awareness about yourself and your world.
