ps for last sunday

 Dear Family and Friends,

Here is a question for those curious about experiencing, practicing, and embodying empathy:

How have you helped—or how will you help—someone feel seen, heard, and understood this week, whether you are celebrating their joy or sitting with them in sorrow?

Empathy makes room for tears and celebration.

Curiosity also helps us practice empathy. When we meet new people and explore unfamiliar experiences, we open ourselves to seeing life from another perspective.

Stay curious and open to new people, places, and experiences. Start a conversation with someone you don’t know, try a new food or drink, or explore somewhere you’ve never been. Allow yourself to experience something new, simply for the joy of it!

Please let me know how it went. I would love to hear what you discovered.

Here is an idea for something new: how about joining our community’s 25th anniversary celebration this Saturday? I bet you have never done that…lol It is a champagne brunch fundraiser, complete with mimosas! The cost is $60 per person. I will post the menu.

Peace and Blessings,
Rev Staci
