Dear Family and Friends,
Although it doesn’t feel like winter here in Las Vegas, the first day of winter begins this Sunday, December 21st (in the Northern Hemisphere). This event means that the Earth’s tilt is furthest from the sun, resulting in December 21st having the shortest day and the longest night of the year.
As Rev Cynthia reminded us, this time of year is an opportunity to release old patterns, habits, beliefs, and all that is not of service to each individual. Although the holidays can be busy, we can choose to take time to slow down, enjoy our family and friends, go within, reflect on the past year, and prepare for what we want to see happen in the upcoming year. It is a time to be grateful and appreciate what we call good and what we have grown through, to find balance and realize all our many blessings.
Thank you, Rev Cynthia, for the reminder of the importance and significance of this time. May each of us realize what this time of year truly represents.
Make the time for you. You are worth it!
Peace and Blessings,
Rev. Staci
