There is a profound spiritual premise we often reflect upon: that God is All. It is a foundational truth. Yet, as I move through our world around me now—a question naturally arises: If God is All, then what is not? If Spirit is the only presence and the only power, then anything appearing as lack, discord, or fear must be an “edit” of the truth.
Quoting a profound insight from Marshall Sylver: “Your brain isn’t showing you “reality” It’s showing you an edit that confirms what you already believe.”
Think about the story of Doubting Thomas. He wasn’t just being difficult; he was trapped in his own “edit.” He believed in the finality of death, so his brain could not process the reality of the Resurrection until he touched it. We often wait for the world to “prove” peace to us before we accept it, forgetting that Truth doesn’t require a valid passport; it only requires our recognition to be felt.
What If. Usually, we use “what if” to fuel our anxieties. What if I fail? What if this goes wrong? But I believe that What If is the only If. It is the gateway to the Divine. When we move from the “edit” of our past experiences into the “What If” of spiritual possibility, we begin to see the world as it truly is.
Humanitarian Jean Vanier once said, “I began to discover that human maturity comes as we begin to bring our heads and hearts together.” That maturity is the realization that each of us isn’t only the Master Piece of the Divine Creator but simply the Master Peace that we are.
Allowing ourselves to let go and let be. The only challenge in “letting go” of our old beliefs isn’t the act itself—it’s the realization that we can. We have the power to stop the edit. Ready to let go now?
As we navigate through the eternal path of now, I invite you to step into the ”What If.” Not as a question of doubt, but as a statement of presence. I believe in the Power of Love that overcomes all. And if I am not operating as Love, then I am not truly present in This Thing Called Life.
Let’s stop editing reality to fit our fears. Instead, let’s use the power of “What If” to reveal the Master Peace that we truly “Is.”
Let’s do this.
