Dear Friends and Family,
Have you ever thought that when obstacles or opportunities for growth come into your world, perhaps it is some sort of punishment? Ever had a bad week when nothing seemed to be going in the direction of your plans? Perhaps you think that you did not pray hard enough, or maybe Universal Law just is not picking up your individualized thought.
I can assure you that none of this is the case. God is not upset and holding a grudge against you, your prayer was heard, and Universal Law is always working with our thoughts and feelings to give us exactly what we affirm OR something infinitely better. The fact is that the road does get rocky sometimes. I am not sure if you all remember, but we are still in a Pandemic. Honestly, the roads have been rocky before; however, the Pandemic has seemingly brought about the utmost rockiness.
I am not sure that those on this plane have ever witnessed more rockiness than what we have gone through in the past 18 months. And it is not over! We still, at this point, have no idea when we might see all the various issues that are at the forefront of all of us be resolved. Why is this happening to the degree that it is? Each area that we need to grow through has been with us for generations.
There is a great deal of attachment to those ideas, and they have been passed along and reside in our DNA. Many of us have closed our hearts, have become intolerant and indifferent to new ideas, updated science. We have lost trust in our elected officials, science, and all authority that doesn’t view things the way we see them. Rocky roads will always exist because they are part of how we grow, evolve, and even thrive, but until we stop the blame, shame, and lack of acceptance to updated tools, technology, studies, ideas, and ways of doing things, we are really on no road at all.
Ram Dass said that life is a journey, and we have all come to walk each other home. Let us choose to continue down the rocky road towards home and decide that each of us will be open to all, mindful of our blind spots, curious about new ideas and concepts, and take the first step of the next chapter of our lives together. If we choose to travel in this manner, no matter where the road leads and how rocky it is, we will evolve into a more loving, kind, and cohesive people.
Is anyone with me? I pray that you are.
Namasté,
Rev Staci
