Dear Family and Friends,
We finished Women’s History Month with our Agape Guest Speaker, Rev Cynthia Ambriz. You might remember that this month’s theme was authenticity, and Rev Cynthia certainly blessed us by sharing her story. Her talk also helps us usher in April’s theme of vulnerability. She shared some heartfelt personal stories that are inspiring and empowering. If you enjoyed her speaking, please consider buying a copy of her book, Love Finds a Way, a Journey of Healing and Return to Wholeness, and then joining her on April 26th at 4 pm PDT, where she will give us more inspiration and insight about her experiences.
You are welcome to join us even if you don’t finish the book (or even start). This book club is our way of staying curious, and we get to practice vulnerability. It is a lovely group of people conversing and sharing who we are and our personal experiences related to the book of the month.
We had the opportunity to meet last night and discuss the book Wild Mercy by Mirabai Starr. The book was a recommendation by our beloved 1st year Practitioner student, Rob Ward, and personally, I didn’t have the opportunity to read more than a few pages, and it was wonderful to just be with like-minded people being with one and hear how each of us sees and navigates this thing called life.
The Healing Words Book Club meets on the last Wednesday of the month, and if you would like to join us, please click on the link below to sign up.
