Dear Friends and Family,
The question we were invited to contemplate last week was: “Are you able to let Love be present in both the uncomfortable and the good?”
Our teaching reminds us that God is Love and Love is God. Since Love is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, it follows that we are always safe, guided, guarded, and protected. Therefore, there is nothing to fear when feelings of discomfort arise.
Yet the human side of us often longs for life to be easy and comfortable. Many times, we doubt not only ourselves but also the Divine. We fear that we may not make it through our discomfort without experiencing heartbreak or loss.
But what if we stretched our belief system? What if we chose to believe that we will make it through and be stronger, wiser, and more compassionate because of the stretching of our current beliefs? What if we decided that not only are we worthy of that stretch, but all of humanity is worthy of it as well?
What if we truly believed that our willingness to give of ourselves could help create a world that is more loving, more compassionate, and more kind? What if we trusted that every act of self-giving contributes to the healing and transformation of our world?
What if?
