Dear Family and Friends,
As God would have it, our self-mastery class last week was about self-esteem. Much to my surprise and delight, they had an exercise called “Reflections on My Holiness.” The setup for the exercise says,
“We have the opportunity to enrich our working vocabulary bya word that we have avoided before, thinking it related only to esoteric theological practices that have little to do with metaphysics. The word is Holiness. Can we see that it is just another and, perhaps more vivid, way of saying Wholeness?”
It goes on to say: “To experience (Holiness) is to accept every aspect of yourself.” Throughout our lives, we sometimes separate ourselves from aspects of ourselves…Accepting and embracing all of what and who we are allows us to bring the truth into those areas, once again restoring our awareness of Wholeness and Holiness.”
May we each learn to be aware, accept, and even embrace all of ourselves by knowing and believing that each of us is Holy.
