Dear Family and Friends,

“Inclusion is not a strategy to help people fit into systems and structures which exist in our societies; it is about transforming those systems and structures to make it better for everyone. Inclusion is about creating a world that works for everyone.”

~ Diane Richler, President, Inclusion International

In case you were not aware, as of January 26, 2023, there have been 40 mass shootings in the United States. Yes, that is just this year.

Last week a man was killed by the police in Memphis, we continue to struggle with mental health issues of adults, as well as our children, and we are too divided as a nation to make any headway to move toward shifting this chaos and craziness through legislation.

So what do we do when we can’t see our way out of the effects of our actions? The answer for those who claim to be religious scientists is to go back to Cause. What have we placed in motion (the law of mind/the V of the teaching symbol) that is causing us to continually manifest that which is causing us all so much pain?

What if we replaced FEAR with LOVE? What if we started being inclusive of everyone, no matter what? I mean recognizing the Divinity and magnificence within every person, no matter the color of their skin, gender, sexual orientation, career, religion, familial status, and socio-economic status. What if we looked at all of that, which makes us uneasy and fearful, and then we took our judgment and erroneous thinking and put it to prayer?

What if we all decided to pray every morning, noon, and night that we unify not only with the Divine but with our fellow human brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, and those friends that we have not yet met? What if we prayed for the inclusion and acceptance of all?

Do you think that might make a difference to those that are outliers who feel lonely, unwanted, and unloved? I will challenge all those reading this who are willing to write a prayer to shift our individualized and collective Fear to Love.

If you are ready, please email me an affirmative prayer and let me know if it is ok to post it so that we can all read each of our individualized expressions of each of our voices as we shift from hell to heaven. I will have an opportunity next week to get mine from my head to my heart and will post it in our next bulletin.

Let’s use our beautiful teaching and philosophy to heal our hearts and move from that place to the collective. In the meantime, let us all pray for the manifestation of this country’s peace, freedom, safety, and security which is our birthright. Sean Ginwright says in his book the 4 Pivots that social healing starts within each of us. Who is willing to commit to joining me in doing our individualized work? I AM ALL IN!
