Dear Family and Friends,

“How you do one thing is how you do everything!”

-Martha Beck

The more I move into deeper spiritual awareness of myself and observe others, the more truth is that the above-referenced quote seems to resonate with not only my mind but also my heart and soul.

This week Rev Wanda spoke about the Water of Life. That is a very timely topic as we have been informed that the federal government said Arizona, Nevada, and Mexico will have to reduce their water consumption for the second year in a row. It is said that this worsening drought crisis is impacting the Colorado River Basin due to the effects of climate change, including extreme heat and low precipitation.

The Earth’s makeup is about 71 percent of the Earth’s surface, which is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth’s water. The percentage of water in the body varies slightly, depending on factors such as age and sex, but is usually within the 45–75% range.

If you find truth in how one does one thing is how one does everything, it will follow that perhaps if we change the way in which we treat our bodies, our oceans, rivers, lakes, and other waterways, then maybe we would also solve the issue in how we treat ourselves and one another. I invite you to notice how you treat yourselves and “the water” of your life so that we can create a world that works for all.

Namasté,
Rev. Staci
