“The spiritual journey is one of constant transformation. In order to grow, you must give up the struggle to remain the same, and learn to embrace change at all times.” – Michael Singer, “The Untethered Soul”, page 81

Dear Family and Friends,

This past Sunday, I briefly mentioned the new greeting, “Grand Rising”. It comes from the Caribbean culture, and many of our young black spiritual folks seem to enjoy using that salutation. Although I like the greeting and love that there is a fresh new feeling that it gives me, I don’t know how often I will use it.

The important thing to me is to be open to something new. There comes a time in which we must allow ourselves to embrace the change and the newness so that we can move forward in evolution. The more we each stay open and accepting of the fact that there is nothing that is changeless except the Divine, the easier it becomes when change occurs.

So, we have reflected, unpacked, and released that which didn’t serve in 2023. What newness are you now willing to replace that void with? What new spiritual practices, books, movies, podcasts, television shows, documentaries, or classes are on your list to consume? What makes this year different than the last for each of us? That will determine how new we each will be in 2024.

If you would like any help for clarity around this, don’t hesitate to contact one of the ministers or practitioners. By serving you, we serve ourselves and the greater good.

Peace and Blessings
