Dear Friends and Family,

We are now right in the middle of January 2020. How are you feeling about the New Year and New Decade? Are you still feeling the idea of the possibility that the New Year and New Decade bring? For those that made resolutions many have already broken those resolutions. Those of us that do not make resolutions but set intentions may already be experiencing the feelings of same old, same old.

What I love about Centers for Spiritual Living is that January allows us the opportunity to go back to basics. We allow ourselves to rediscover the beginning of what Dr. Holmes wrote in the Science of Mind textbook. We get to deepen our awareness of that which we believe.

Rev Wanda reminded us of that this past Sunday, that we have over 60,000 thoughts a day. How many of those thoughts are repeated? Of those thoughts, are there those that are not the truth of who you came here to be? You know, “I am not enough”, “I do not have enough”, “I am in lack”, “I am limited”, “I am (fill in the blank with any negative untruth)”.

Any thoughts that you have about yourself that is not the truth of what Spirit is, is not your truth. Your work, if you choose to accept it, is to look at those thoughts, see the error in your thinking, and reframe them so that you can move from disempowerment to empowerment. Noah St John calls these new statements, “Afformations”.

Centers for Spiritual Living has various tools to assist in your movement forward on your path. My recommendation is the classes. Right now, we are offering a free Foundations class on Tuesday evening or Saturday morning.

If you are interested, please sign up and show up this week. Rev Cheryl and I look forward to facilitating your forward movement in life. You are worth it!
