Dear Friends & Family,

To begin with, I am so grateful for all those who came to service on Sunday and helped celebrate, through song and prayer, all the great men and women who served and sacrificed so much for the freedoms we have in this Country. I am reminded every year that much was given that we might have the freedom to worship God in the way each of us chooses to do so!

We were also reminded that we have been given total freedom to choose the thoughts we wish to think, while also remembering that we are surrounded by a Law that uses those very thoughts to create what we experience in our world. So the question became: How do we shift our thinking from conflict to peace in order to create peace in our world?

We discovered that it is the tendency to look at WHAT’S WRONG AND WHAT’S NOT WORKING, which sets in motion the creation of more of WHAT’S WRONG AND WHAT’S NOT WORKING in our lives. We determined that we can change this by looking at WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WORKING, which will set in motion the creation of more of just that!

Then we watched part of Mary Morrissey’s Prosperity Plus III – Week Six Video and watched how NOT forgiving shows up in our world. Mary reminded us of what happens when we fail to forgive, hold a grudge or when we resent another:

“Resentment is like picking up a hot coal with the intention of burning someone else, but it is YOU who gets burnt.” When you hold resentment, the Universe reads that you want to receive more like that!

And finally, we were reminded that if we keep thinking and keep doing what we have always thought and done, then life will continue to show up the same way. If we really want to see change in our lives, we realized that we absolutely must change our thinking, let go of what no longer serves us, make new decisions, and take different actions!

I leave you with what Raymond Holliwell, the author of Working with the Law once wrote:

“Our predominant mental attitude is the primary cause of most everything that comes into our lives, and the sooner we realize this truth, the sooner we shall begin to improve our lives and progress.”

Love, Love, Love,

Rev. Dan
