Rev. Cheryl

Dear Friends and Family,

This past week we spoke about Revolutionary Love; it is when we bring the SOM philosophy of co-creation and revolutionary leaps in consciousness together with the SOM theology of Oneness and interconnectedness and the natural LOVE that comes with that. Revolutionary Love is bringing collective change through our love for one another. It is bold in that it asks us to act on behalf of ourselves, of those we love, and even those we have not yet learned how to love.

Every time we act through this revolutionary love, every time we are moved to love ourselves enough to say “enough is enough,” every time we love another enough to fiercely protect them, to fight for their dignity, to come into a deeper relationship with their struggles and their pain, and every time we allow this same love to bring us into a state of true wonder and curiosity with those we have made an enemy, we are in a state of Love, we are at one with the Divine.

We honored our beloved Rev. Anna Kendall on Mother’s Day for modeling Revolutionary Love and for all that she has taught us about ourselves, love and compassion. We will certainly miss her.

Love and Oneness,
Rev. Cheryl
