Dear Friends and Family,
It was so wonderful having a LIVE audience this past Sunday that I could actually see. Rev. Staci and I spoke to you about breathing.
There are so many ways to use the breath. It is an amazing tool of detection that can be a signpost to our state of mind and states of being. It is one of the easiest ways we can “check-in” where we are emotionally.
Suppose you are sitting in traffic induces parking lot and you are late to a meeting, your breathing becomes rapid in an attempt to quickly distribute oxygen-rich blood to your body as a result of the stress you feel sitting in the “parking lot”. When we are mindfully aware of how we are breathing at any given moment, we can immediately check-in on such things as tension, anxiety, fears, worries, stress, trauma, etc. And like any early warning detection system, the goal, once the warning has been signaled, is to act.
Our World is going through a time in our history where we are being called to action. If it is becoming an Ally, marching in the streets for equality. As a community of seekers and learners, I know that we are willing to do the inner work that leads to a World that works for all.
Remember: We Believe the ultimate goal of life to be a complete freedom from all discord of every nature, and that this goal is sure to be attained by all.
