Rev. Cheryl

Dear Friends and Family,

I got a chance to watch the filmed version of the musical “Hamilton” for the second time on Sunday. Only 18 more to go! I am in awe of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s brilliance! And all the incredible performances just blew me away.

My favorite was the inspiring themes that kept recurring throughout – such as, “I’m not going to miss my shot,” or was it “I’m not throwing away my shot” and “It’s time to rise up!” And of course, the one line that struck me the most was, “When my time is up, Have I done enough?”

I believe this pandemic has given us a powerful opportunity to look at every area of our lives and decide what is REALLY important to us to be happy and fulfilled.

THIS is our shot at making a better life for ourselves… to make a better WORLD for ourselves! To create a world that works for all. But rising up to take advantage of this time may require us to move beyond our comfort zone.

I have been thinking a lot about when my time is up, will I have done enough. I like to ask you all to think about it too. Remember: WE BELIEVE the ultimate goal of life to be a complete freedom (emancipation) from all discord of every nature, and that this goal is sure to be attained by all.

Peace, love and oneness,
Rev. Cheryl
