Dear practitioner:
Why do Practitioners charge for prayer? It seems to me that prayer should be free. If I don’t have any money doesn’t the Center want us to make use of the Practitioners?
Sincerely,

Dear Anonymous:
Thank you for your straightforward question; I know exactly what you mean! When I started my journey with SOM (Science Of Mind), to say that my money was tight was an understatement. To pay for a practitioner to talk to me felt unnecessary until I decided to become a practitioner!
Being “spiritual” is not cheap (psychologically and financially speaking); saying the right thing at the right time, being a source of comfort for others, and creating a life that reflects our teachings cost many tears and money. We choose to find out who we are so we can help others. Attending years of classes, seminars, reading tons of books, keeping up with our licenses and CEUs, and other things so we can grow in consciousness, hold ourselves to higher standards (like any other profession), and make a difference in the world. I am not justifying the reason that we charge, just explaining what is behind the curtain. 😊
Putting all that aside…
You never pay for prayer, prayer is free.
The money you pay to a practitioner is for the time and skills of the practitioner to see the Truth behind your question or situation. Sometimes we are so wrapped up in our negative thinking or situation that we cannot see a way out. The practitioner can see what is behind and what appears real at this moment, and from a consciousness of pure love and wisdom, the practitioner can guide you to a higher consciousness level of thinking, another way to your own way.
If you cannot pay the practitioner for any reason, know that the right and perfect practitioner is already waiting for you, knowing that Abundance already surrounds every part of yourself and life, just waiting for you to claim it and accept it (but you must ask).
The “one-minute” miracle treatment is another way to speak to a practitioner for free. (I don’t know why they call it a one-minute; nobody is keeping track of the time 😊).
We live in a world that is overflowing with Abundance, can you see it?
The Center wants you to take advantage of every opportunity that they offer so you can make a life that works for you first and then shine your light to the world.
Affirmation: As I receive, I give. As I give, I accept.
In gratitude for your courage,
Cristina Rodriguez R.Sc.P.
