Last Sunday was another laughing, glorious, enlightening morning with all of you. I always learn so much about myself on Sunday mornings. Thanks for taking the journey with me.
As promised, here are some of my quotes - "How nice" when someone is bragging. "Oh" when you don't want something to slip into your subconscious and yet you want to be appropriate. And finally, when a crisis arises, something happens that feels yucky- say - with your hands on hips, standing erect - "This too is God, This too is good, This too is for me and I DEMAND (stomping your foot) a blessing from it."
I have had so much fun this week myself practicing what I teach. On one such occasion, I was having dinner with a friend at Mimi's. We arrived, the host asked my name and said it will be about 10 minutes, is that OK? I said, "well, if I stomp my foot will we be seated any faster?" He had the deer in the headlights look and said - "well I don't know, no one has ever asked that question." Soon, he was calling my name, in much less time than 10 minutes. He said, "I guess your stomping your foot really helped." I wanted to tell him the above quote, but decided to just let that be between me, the God of my being and my friend. We each were sincerely blessed at the reminder of "making the demand for what we expect and want." I love, you.
